Sara Shogii, an Iranian artist based in Toronto, brings powerful stories to life through her art. Through her project Book of People, she captures the passion and resilience of Iranians during and after the protests, giving voice to their experiences. As an artist in exile, she understands the deep sense of loss and longing for home and how art can become a bridge to belonging.
In her mural work, she blends emotion, poetry, and joy into every piece. At For the Street Art Festival Frauenfeld , she will be part of the community project with Cup of Colors, painting a mural alongside the refugee camp peregrina stiftung. Like three other exiled artists joining the jam, she will also create a dedicated panel at the Lindenpark.
