Marc Meier, is a woodworker and artist from Frauenfeld that specializes in Kumiko, a traditional Japanese technique that creates intricate wooden designs without the use of nails or screws. Marc’s passion for woodworking started in his youth, and after years of training and hands-on experience, he focused on creating unique Kumiko pieces that are both functional and artistic. His work combines precise craftsmanship with modern design, blending tradition with a contemporary twist.

After being an amazing helper at the last festival Marc entered the open call and will now showcase his art for the first time at the Street Art Festival Frauenfeld. He will be doing a workshop on traditional kumiko and putting up an installation at the Unterer Graben.
