Jan Sebesta Originally from the Czech Republic but local in Frauenfeld since 2002, Jan Sebesta is known for transforming everyday objects by stripping them of their original function and giving them new meaning. Working with a wide range of materials, he explores themes like impermanence, renewal and transience. His work reflects a critical view of consumer culture and its endless cycle of production and consumption. Through construction and deconstruction, Jan reshapes familiar forms while keeping their origins visible, inviting us to rethink what we see. His art is deeply connected to space, context and the present moment, often rooted in observations of daily life. For the Street Art Festival Frauenfeld he is creating an Installation in the botanic gardens.
Shrouded in mystery and rooted in Frauenfeld, Sirup lets the art speak And what he has is “SIRUP”. Choosing anonymity over attention, he creates with purpose but without explanation. Catch his work unfold live at the Street Art Festival Frauenfeld on panel at the Lindenpark.
