Chuu Wai

Chu Wai is an artist from Myanmar whose work explores the intersections of gender, culture and social justice. Her practice is deeply rooted in the cultural and political landscape of her home country, using art as a tool for reflection and resistance. Through her work, Chu Wai challenges norms and creates space for dialogue and change. For  the Street Art Festival Frauenfeld she is part of the community project with cup of colors, painting a mural alongside the refugee camp peregrina stiftung. Like three other exiled artists joining the jam, she will also be painting a panel at the Lindenpark.
